About The Park
Welcome to Sun Country RV Park
We’re the oldest park in Wellton, and a lot of people say it feels like coming home, even if it’s their first season with us. Here at the park, there’s always something going on: activities six days a week, hot dog roasts, outdoor movies, breakfasts a couple times a month, and plenty of chances to meet your friendly neighbors in one of our many community gathering spaces. Welcome to your new home in the Arizona desert, whether it’s for a weekend or a while!
Life at Sun Country
Here at Sun Country, we’re big on community and convenience. The pavilion and big communal kitchen host most of the social stuff (dinners, bingo, karaoke), and other gathering spots like the library, card room, and crafting area are active throughout the week. The firepit and outdoor movie setup are an easy way to end the day when the weather cooperates (and with ~300 days of sunshine per year, that’s rarely a concern here in sunny Arizona).
On the practical side, everything’s set up to make your day-to-day life just a little easier. Two laundry rooms, clean showers, plenty of seating around the park, and enough space between sites so you’re not right on top of your neighbors.
Thinking About a Longer Stay?
Winter stays are the big draw for many of our long-term guests, with warm sunshine year-round and a light breeze most days. Off-road riders also join us for extended stays thanks to our easy access to local ATV trails. And for folks who prefer being close to town while still enjoying the wide open desert views, Yuma is only 25–30 minutes away for groceries, appointments, restaurants, and anything else you might need. Even closer, the local clinic is a mile from the park, and the golf course is an easy walk if that’s part of your routine.
Park Information
We are a pet friendly park, so bring along your furry companions!
Office hours are Mon-Fri 8 am – 12 pm. For after-hours help, our phone forwards to an on-call manager.
Quiet Hours are 10 pm – 6 am.
